Solution Methodology to Compute R-Curve Parameters
 | Assume the failure condition is defined using KIC and CTODc criterion. Set up the equations relating the material properties to the geometry of loading.

 | Assume two unknowns as the critical crack length acrit and the critical applied force Pmax.
 | Apply the critical applied force Pmax to a specimen without any fibers. Compute the crack opening profile. Use the fiber pullout compute the effective closing pressure and crack closure at that crack opening profile. Update the crack face forces and reiterate to solve for Pmax and acrit.
